Surprise! Bonus newsletter! Here's all the fun things happening in June to put on your calendar: June 4: Happy Hour Club​From Boise Happy Hour Club is happening Thursday, June 4 at 5:15pm. It's a casual drinks (and apps if you want) hangout where you'll be matched with a small group of strangers to meet new people over happy hour. No after party, just good drinks & good conversation. Tix are $16. Book your seat here. ​ June 5: Roars and PoursZoo Boise is hosting Roars and Pours from 6-9pm. It’s an after-hours zoo experience featuring live music, a giraffe encounter, zookeeper chats, special animal experiences, and free carousel rides. Beer, wine, cider, and a special food menu available for purchase. Tix are $30 advance, $35 day of, or $80 VIP. 21+. June 5–7: Ballet Idaho: Cinderella​Ballet Idaho’s Cinderella is happening at the Morrison Center for the Performing Arts, with performances Friday June 5 at 7:30pm, Saturday June 6 at 2pm and 7:30pm, and Sunday, June 7 at 2pm. It’s a newly imagined production of the classic story, set to Prokofiev’s score. Tix start at $48.50. Princess/prince attire encouraged! June 5: 2C Music Fest​2C Music Fest is happening at Memorial Park in Caldwell from 4–8pm. It’s a free outdoor music festival featuring local artists 5PM Johnny, Rivers Wild, and Becky and the Beards, plus five food trucks and kids’ activities. It’s all free! June 6: Ustick in Bloom​Ustick in Bloom is happening at Redwood Park in west Boise from 5-9pm. It’s a neighborhood celebration featuring a beer garden, live music, craft vendors, and food trucks. It’s free! June 6: i48 — Idaho 48 Hour Film FestivalThe i48 Idaho 48 Hour Film Festival is happening at the Egyptian Theatre in downtown Boise, with screenings at 1:30pm and 4:30pm. It's the 23rd annual festival showcasing short films made by Idaho filmmaker teams in just 48 hours. Tix are $10. June 6: YMCA Treasure Valley TriathlonThe YMCA Treasure Valley Triathlon is happening at Esther Simplot Park, with the swim in Quinn’s Pond and the bike/run along the Boise River Greenbelt. It’s a USAT-sanctioned charity triathlon offering Super Sprint, Sprint, and Olympic distances, plus relay, youth, and adaptive divisions. Entry prices vary. June 6: Caldwell Family Fun Day​Caldwell’s 12th Annual Family Fun Day is happening at Serenity Park and Rotary Pond (1100 Dearborn St) in Caldwell. It’s a free community event on Idaho’s Free Fishing Day featuring a kids fishing challenge, color run/walk, bounce houses, obstacle courses, chalk art, local vendors, free games and prizes, and a free kids lunch. June 7: Art & Roses FestivalThe 35th annual Art & Roses Festival is happening in the Rose Garden at Julia Davis Park from 10am–5pm. It’s a celebration of local fine art, featuring 100+ local artists, live music from the Idaho Songwriters Association, Starbelly Dancers performances, free figure drawing, art activities and clay demos, a youth art showcase, and food trucks. It’s free to attend! June 7: Savor Idaho​Savor Idaho is happening at the Idaho Botanical Garden from 2–5pm (VIP hour starts at 1pm). It’s a walkable tasting experience featuring 30+ Idaho wineries and cideries throughout the garden. There’s also live music, food trucks, and a wine scavenger hunt. The 2026 theme is the Year of the Riesling. Tix are $75 GA or $95 VIP. 21+ June 10–13: Eagle Rodeo​The Eagle Rodeo is happening at the Eagle Rodeo Grounds (6500 W. Chaparral Road) Wednesday, June 10 - Saturday, June 13. It’s four nights of PRCA rodeo action featuring cowboys from across the country, vendors, food, and legendary after-parties on Friday and Saturday. This year celebrating 25 years! Tix are $20-$35 depending on the night. Kids are free! June 13: Ten at the Pen​Ten at the Pen is happening at the Old Idaho Penitentiary from 12–6pm. It's a free community celebration of Meriwether Cider's 10th anniversary, featuring local food trucks (Big Beantz, Taste of the Caribbean, Piou Pizza, and STIL Ice Cream), Idaho musicians, artists, makers, live screen printing, flash tattoos, and hands-on activities, plus cider, cocktails, and beer available for purchase. June 13: Star Police Fishing RodeoThe Star Police Fishing Rodeo is happening at Star Riverhouse (960 S Main St) in Star from 10am–1pm. It’s a free family fishing event on Idaho’s Free Fishing Day, with Star Police officers on-site helping kids cast lines, trophy fish stocked in the pond, loaner poles available, and free bait included. June 13: Caldwell Artisan FairThe Caldwell Artisan Fair is happening at Memorial Park (619 Irving St) in Caldwell from 10am–5pm. It’s an annual celebration of local creativity featuring regional artists, handmade goods, jewelry, pottery, live music, food trucks, and a kids zone. It’s free! June 13: Terra-Tactile: Big Machines in the Park​Terra-Tactile: Big Machines in the Park is happening at Bernie Fisher Park (201 W Main St) in Kuna from 11am–2pm. Bring the fam to see big old trucks up-close like emergency response vehicles, heavy farm machinery, City of Kuna vehicles, and more. Kids can climb up on the trucks and learn more about them. There’s also face painting and food vendors. It’s free! June 14: Canyon County Pride​Canyon County Pride is happening at Lakeview Park in Nampa from 11am–7pm. It’s a full day of live entertainment, local vendors, dancing, and community celebration for the LGBTQ+ community and allies. More schedule details coming soon on their website. June 16–20: Snake River StampedeThe Snake River Stampede is happening at the Ford Idaho Center Arena in Nampa, with nightly rodeo performances at 7:30pm and a Family Day matinee on Saturday, June 20 at noon. It’s one of the top ten professional rodeos in the country, featuring bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, and more. There’s also live concerts after each night’s rodeo featuring American Tradition (Tue), Drake Milligan (Wed), Scotty Mac & the Nugs (Thu), 1871 (Fri), and Almost Famous (Sat). It’s the 111th year and draws 60,000+ fans over five days! Tix start around $37. June 19: Juneteenth Family Movie Night​Family Movie Night is happening at Cherie Buckner-Webb Park in downtown Boise, starting at dusk. It’s a free outdoor screening of Doctor Dolittle 2, hosted by the Idaho Black Community Alliance in celebration of Juneteenth, with concessions, music, and raffles. The first 50 people to register get a free hot dog! June 20: Boise Dandelion Festival​The Boise Dandelion Festival is happening at Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park from 2–7pm. I love this event! It’s a free, family-friendly celebration of biodiversity and local food systems, with live music from Fahd & Marcus, Kiri Music, and Mckenna Esteb. There's also dandelion-themed drinks from local breweries and cideries, food trucks, local vendors, and dozens of community nonprofits. It’s so fun! June 20: Boise Marathon​The Boise Marathon is happening along the Boise River Greenbelt, with distances ranging from a 5K (starts 8am) to the full marathon (starts 6:04am on the dot). It’s part of the new Boise Four Race Series (The Boise River Marathon which happened on May 2, The Boise Marathon on June 20, The City of Trees Marathon October 11, and The Boise Half Marathon on November 14). Tix start at $50 for the 5K / $110 for the full marathon. June 21: Father’s Day Car ShowThe annual Father’s Day Car Show is happening in front of the Idaho State Capitol in downtown Boise from 10am–3pm. It’s a free annual show featuring classic and contemporary vehicles, downtown pop-ups, and kid-friendly activities. It’s free! June 24: From Boise Dinner Club​From Boise Dinner Club is back on Wednesday, June 24 at 6:30pm somewhere in downtown Boise. Fill out a lil quiz, get matched with six strangers for dinner at a local restaurant and then enjoy an after party with the whole group. Tix are $16. Book your seat here.​ June 25–27: Meridian Dairy Days​Meridian Dairy Days is back for its 97th year, running Thursday, June 25 through Saturday, June 27 with events spread across Meridian. Expect a full carnival at Meridian Speedway, livestock and dairy shows, a Dairy Princess pageant, and a parade winding through downtown on Saturday morning. The full schedule will be announced soon. Many events are free; carnival unlimited ride wristbands are $35 in advance or $45 at the door, and the Friday pancake breakfast is $10 or $5 for kids under 12. June 26 – 27: Eagle Fun Days​Eagle Fun Days is happening in downtown Eagle at Heritage Park and along State Street, kicking off Friday from 5–8pm with live music, food, and drinks, then going all day Saturday from 11am–9pm. It’s a two-day citywide celebration featuring a parade at 1pm, a car show from 12–3pm, a fun run at 8am, an inflatable kids zone at City Hall, a cornhole tournament at 3pm, a Rotary Ball Drop at 4pm, and a vendor market — all themed around “America 250.” It’s free! June 27: Boise Music Festival​Boise Music Festival is happening at Expo Idaho in Garden City from 10am–10pm. It’s a full day festival with six stages headlined by Marshmello, Sean Paul, Everclear, Eve 6, and MKTO, plus 50 local and regional acts, a carnival, food vendors, a vendor village, cornhole, and an air-conditioned kids’ play area. Tix start at $44.44 and kids 8 and under get in free with an adult. June 27: Wild West Brewfest​Wild West Brewfest is happening at Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell from 4–8pm. It’s a craft beer tasting event featuring dozens of local, regional, and national breweries, live music from Soul Patch and the Layne Bowen Band, a western wear fashion show, and a beard and mustache competition. Tix include 12 tasting tickets and a commemorative mug. The plaza is free to attend for all ages. Summer MarketsSaturdays: Boise Farmers Market​Boise Farmers Market is every Saturday at 1500 Shoreline Dr in Boise. A beloved weekly market featuring local produce and fresh foods from Idaho farmers. No dogs allowed at this one. Saturdays: Capital City Public Market​Capital City Public Market is every Saturday from 9:30am–1:30pm on The Grove Plaza. Tons of vendors including local farms, artisans, baked goods, and specialty food and drink. Dogs allowed! Saturdays: Meridian Farmers Market​Meridian Farmers Market is every Saturday from 9am-1:30pm at 33 E. Broadway Ave in Meridian. Shop fresh produce and art and enjoy live music and local food trucks. Saturdays: Nampa Farmers Market​Nampa Farmers Market is every Saturday from 9am-1:30pm at Lloyd Square Park. Shop local produce from local farmers! Saturday: Eagle Saturday Market​Eagle Saturday Market is every Saturday from 9am–1pm at Heritage Park in downtown Eagle. A community market with local produce, crafts, and goods in the heart of Eagle. Sundays: The Boise Flea​The Boise Flea June dates are June 14 and June 28 from 10am–4pm at Boise State's East Stadium Lot (1188 W University Dr). Free admission and $5 parking. Mondays: Meridian Monday Night Market​Meridian Monday Night Market is every Monday starting June 1 from 4-9pm at Storey Park in Meridian. Enjoy a family friendly atmosphere with farm goods, handcrafted artisan wares, baked treats, refreshing beverages, food trucks, live entertainment, and more. Tuesdays: Caldwell Farm-to-Fork Market​Caldwell Farm-to-Fork Market is every Tuesday from 5–8pm at Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell. Enjoy live music from 6–9pm and a 30+ vendor farmers market. Thursdays: West Bench Farmers Market​West Bench Farmers Market is every Thursday from 5–8pm at Spaulding Ranch (3805 N Cole Rd). A regenerative, community-focused market with farm fresh produce, food, and live music. Summer Live Music SeriesBig Al’s Live on the Patio​Live on the Patio happens Fridays & Saturdays from 7–10pm at Big Al’s Meridian. There’s also free line dancing lessons every Friday 6–7pm.

June 19: Silver Screen: SpongeBob Movie​Silver Screen outdoor movie night is happening at Midway Park in Nampa, starting at dusk (around 9pm). The week’s movie is The SpongeBob Movie. It’s free! June 19: Movies Under the Stars: Zootopia 2​Movies Under the Stars series is happening at the Julia Davis Park Bandshell in Boise at dusk. This month’s movie is Zootopia 2. It’s free!
