​Rocket: A Group Art Show Celebrating the Life of Neon Artist Wil Kirkman is happening at Visual Arts Collective from 5:30pm–midnight. The event honors beloved Boise neon artist Wil Kirkman, who passed in late December, with 20 local and regional artists creating rocket-themed works alongside a collection of Wil's own pieces. ​Athletic Club Boise​, Idaho’s first and only pro soccer/futbol team, has its first home match this weekend! Right now it’s completely sold out but there are a few watch parties at Brixx Craft House, Belmont Brew House, Liga Sports Bar, and Double Tap Pub. You can get tix for an upcoming home match ​here​.

​Are You Smarter Than a 4th Grader? Trivia Night is happening at JUMP (1000 W Myrtle St) from 5–8pm (trivia starts at 6:30pm). Test your knowledge of Idaho history with teams of 2–8 in this family trivia night presented by the City of Boise, Idaho State Museum, and Idaho PBS. It's free!
Friday, April 3
​Boise Holi 2026 is happening at Boise State University Intramural Field from 4–9pm. The Indian Students Association's annual Festival of Colors celebration is back with epic color throwing, a live DJ, food trucks, and more. Wear white for the full effect. Tix are $18.
​First Friday Art & Studio Stroll is happening in Garden City from 5:30–8:30pm. Explore open art studios, exhibitions, readings, and performances throughout the Work-Live-Create district. This month featuring a community collage night hosted by The Backyard Artists at Surel's Place. It's free!
​Stagecoach Theatre is kicking off The Great American Trailer Park Musical. The show runs April 3, 2026 – April 25. This irreverent musical comedy follows the chaos that erupts at Armadillo Acres trailer park when a stripper on the run arrives and upends everyone's lives. Tix are $25.

​Hidden Gems Estate Sale is happening in Garden City from 9am–3pm both days. Boise Estate Liquidators is hosting this two-day sale packed with vintage furniture, antique trunks, collectibles, vintage records, and unique home accents. The address is posted on the Facebook page the day before the sale.
​Ballet Idaho is performing Peter and the Wolf is at Capital High School on Friday at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm. Ballet Idaho's hilarious and clever retelling of the classic tale is choreographed by Associate Artistic Director Anne Mueller. It's a perfect introduction to ballet for families and first-timers.
Saturday, April 4
​The Idaho Wedding Expo is happening at Boise Centre from 10am–4pm. There's vendors, a bridal fashion show, giveaways, and a full bar. Tix are $10 or $35 for VIP.
​4th Annual Treasure Valley Book Fair is happening at Nampa Public Library from 11am–4pm. Meet local authors, illustrators, and publishers while browsing and shopping a huge variety of books. It's free!
​Culture in Motion is happening at Global Lounge from 6pm–midnight. It's a celebration of art, music, fashion, community, and local vendors. It's all ages from 6–8:30pm then shifts to a 21+ DJ dance party at 9pm. Tix are $7.
Tuesday, April 7
​The Phil Collins Story is happening at the Morrison Center at 7:30pm. This fully immersive docu-concert recreates Phil Collins' greatest career highlights - from his time with Genesis to his multi-Grammy solo career- all with live musicians and dynamic projections. Tix start at $36.50.
​Gem 73, Idaho’s newest winery is doing a pop up at Boise Art Glass for First Thursday. Enjoy $10 tastings from 5–6:30pm.
Saturday, April 4
​Taste of River Street is happening at the Erma Hayman House from 4–6pm. Chef Kevin Huelsmann of KIN has created a prix fixe menu inspired by the historic River Street Center Cookbook, celebrating the diverse food traditions that shaped Boise's River Street neighborhood. Tix are $45 and includes three-course meal and drinks. Gluten-free and vegan options are available.
​The Boise Farmers Market​ is back! Opening day for the 2026 market season kicks off at 1500 Shoreline Drive from 9am–1pm. ​Just the Tips is happening at Liquid Laughs from 7–8:45pm. Boise's newest monthly comedy show features the best local, regional, and touring comedians. This month is headlined by Eli Singleton of Bozeman, MT, along with Stone Casad and host Zander Yuan. It's free!
​Middle Aged Mayhem Comedy Show is happening at the Egyptian Theatre at 7pm. It's an improv and sketch comedy show featuring Heath Harmison, Scott D. Henry, Logan Petersen, and Tyson Allred delivering brutally honest takes on kids, marriage, aging, and bad decisions. Tix are $35–$50. 18+
​Morgan Jay is at the Morrison Center for two sets at 7pm and 9:30pm. The LA-based musician and comedian has been on MTV's Wild'n'Out, NBC, and Comedy Central. He blends stand-up with musical influences from his Brazilian and Italian roots. Tix start at $37.75. 16+
​Pretty Good People's Choice Comedy Showcase is happening at Voodoo Cellar at 7:45pm. The audience votes for their favorite open-mic act. Acts with the most votes advance to the second showcase at the end of the month.

​The Pretty Good Open Mic is happening at Ochos - sign-ups are at 7:30pm and show is at 8pm. Up to 15 comics take the stage for a night of drinks and laughs. It's free!
