Bogus Basin Mountain Report

Due to the heat wave and near-record high temperatures in the area this week, the Bogus Basin team anticipates this Sunday, March 22nd to be the last day of winter operations.

Soak up the sun & celebrate the season at the Bogus Basin Meltdown Party! Head to the mountain for a day of festivities, with live music, games in the base area, a costume party and more! β˜€οΈ

Lifts spin until 10 pm on Saturday, and 4:30 pm on Sunday, March 22nd.

  • ​Not Your Granny’s Square Dance! is happening at the IOA Hall (3401 Brazil St, Boise) from 7–10pm. It’s a fun, energetic square dance with a live old time stringband music, led and taught by festive callers. No experience, special attire, or partner needed. Tix are $15, kids under 13 are free.
  • ​Boise Art Happening is taking place at Boise Contemporary Theater at 7:30pm. It’s a bohemian extravaganza of live music, spoken word poetry, and storytelling featuring Blake Shields, Bernard C. Bayer, Eilen Jewell, and friends. Tix are $18.87.
  • ​Gather & Paint: Pet Portraits for a Cause is happening at Lenses & Brushes in downtown Boise from 6–8:30pm. It’s a guided acrylic painting class where you’ll paint a portrait of your own pet. No experience needed and all materials provided. Tix are $65 for one pet and $85 for two pets. All proceeds the Idaho Humane Society.

  • ​Boise Spring Home Show is happening at Expo Idaho in Garden City. The hours are Friday 5–9pm, Saturday 11am–6pm, and Sunday 11am–4pm. There's over 200 displays covering landscaping, remodeling, kitchen and bathroom ideas. Tix $7 adults, $6 seniors, kids 12 and under free.
